(before I start, I know, 2 blogs in as many days, what is the world coming to?!)
One of the things that I’ve been wanting to do more of for Nimue’s World, is shooting off the cuff, spur of the moment things, as I’m in the mood for them. I’ve been managing to do that a lot more with video, but stills have proved more difficult. My video camera is very good at coping with whatever lighting and locations I throw at it, but my stills camera is a little more picky! If there’s not enough or too much light, then it can be very difficult to get decent shots.
I have been occasionally coming back to the problem, but had figured that there wasn’t much I could do, and I was going to have to stick to more staged and planned photosets. Until the weekend, that is.
What happened at the weekend, I hear you ask? I got a shiny new phone!
What does that have to do with anything, I hear you ask? Well, my previous phone was a silly little blackberry which struggled to take any decent pictures of anything. But my new phone actually has a decent camera. A decent camera which I will never be without (I cannot leave the house without my phone!).
So, as soon as I had the phone, I decided to do a fun experiment – I shot some porn for this weeks update.
Now, I’m not going to be doing this every week -there’s only so much I can do shooting pics of myself – but I now have the flexibility to shoot pictures of my life as it unfolds. It feels much more personal doing this – the things I shoot this way will not be staged scenes, but just cool things I get up to that I think will make sexy pictures.
Some might say that this a step backwards in terms of production quality and kit, and it is. But I believe that it’s also a step forwards in terms of documenting my real, sexy, kinky life!
I’ve actually got more phone stuff to talk about, but as this post has got quite long already, I think I’ll save that for another post!
